Long run up and over Ptarmigan Peak. Turned around at about 2 hours - I had a feeling I was going to finish before 4 hours since the trail is pretty fast downhill, but it was getting stormy. Ran a bit around the roads near the trailhead until a dog started chasing me and the huskies, so I decided that was enough and ran back to the car. I like this trail - it's pretty steep, but runnable and a lot of fun coming down.

Cruise intervals. 15 min WU @ 9:50, then the workout was 6x1 mile at 8:10 with 2 min slow in between. Did the first one at 8:10, and it felt pretty hard. Only managed to do 5 intervals total, and each one was a little slower, until the last one was about 8:40. Then 15 min CD and 5 min walking. Even though I didn't quite finish the workout as suggested, I'm still pretty happy with this because it's the best I've done on this workout since my foot injury.

MP hill run on TM. My ipod is working again. :) 10 min easy WU, then the workout was 60 min at 4% and 10:00. This felt harder than I expected for an MP workout...and my stomach started cramping up so I did the last half at 3%. 5 min walking CD.
