SJS 50. I felt pretty good at the start, some minor GI issues. After the first aid station, though, I started getting nauseous, and threw up several times on the final part of the first climb. Usually when I'm running, throwing up makes me feel better but I still felt nauseous and weak on the way down to Williams Creek. On the road out of the aid station, I forced myself to eat a gel and felt a bit better for a while. But I just didn't have much energy, and every time I tried to run I felt sick. I wish I knew what it was - maybe altitude? Or since I had some stomach issues the previous week, maybe it was just a lingering bug?

Dog walk around Lake City. We were going to stop and climb in Penitente on the way, but the smoke was so bad from several fires we just kept driving.
