Running 57:00 [2] 5.5 mi (10:22 / mi) +450ft 9:37 / mi
shoes: NB 1210 #2

Easy run to the lake after getting home from Leadville and taking a (4 hour!) nap. I think crewing is more exhausting than running that race. Really tired but glad I got out to run because I felt better after.

Note

No time for running while crewing Janie. Got some walking in to the aid stations.

Hiking 6:15:00 [3] 14.0 mi (26:47 / mi) +4650ft 20:23 / mi
shoes: NB 1210 #2

Mt Massive. Felt tired today for some reason. We got slowed down even further because some woman lost her dog...we found the dog on the trail completely dehydrated and unable to walk. With another hiker, we carried the dog for about a mile until the owner (who had made it all the way to her car without realizing the dog was gone) came walking back up the trail. We gave her the dog and told her it was in bad shape, and she said "that's what everyone's been telling me."

Running 1:20:00 [3] 7.5 mi (10:40 / mi)
shoes: NB 1210 #2

Easy run with 5x1:30 surges at 5k pace. Did this on the CO trail near twin Lakes. Mileage is an estimate.

Hiking 30:00 [1] 1.5 mi (20:00 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Guide

Running 44:00 [2] 4.4 mi (10:00 / mi) +450ft 9:07 / mi
shoes: NB 1210 #2

Easy run. Wanted to do something longer today but I was too busy unpacking from WY and packing for Leadville. Hills felt a bit easier after the backpacking.
