10K time trial...this was a little bit of a disaster. Did the American Diabetes Association Diabetes Dash and it was the worst organized event I've ever done. I should have known it was a fundraiser and not a serious run. I got there early and warmed up, and they had us line up at the start. But then for some reason they waited 20 minutes to actually start, so I wasn't really warmed up any more. The course was marked, sort of, but it went in loops and the volunteers had no idea which way you were supposed to go. At one point, I stopped and asked them which direction to go, and they said "it doesn't matter." I finally realized I was going around in circles and just cut it short and used my phone navigation to go back to the finish line. I was using a GPS app on my phone and it looks like I did a little more than 4 miles (not including the warmup) during the race, some of which I walked because I wasn't sure where I was. But I did get 5K of decent running in, in about 26 minutes, which includes a couple quick stops to ask volunteers which way to go. I don't know if this is good enough for a shorter "time trial" or if I should try this again another day? At least I raised some money for a good cause!

15 min WU then 3×1 mile at about 10K pace. I just picked a pace I thought I could hold about an hour (8:30 or so). 3 min walking in between. About 10 min CD.
