Hiking 30:00 [1] 1.5 mi (20:00 / mi)
shoes: Montrail Rockridge #5

Running 5:00:00 [4] 17.0 mi (17:39 / mi) +3240ft 14:57 / mi
shoes: NB 1210 Bright Blue

Long run with up/down workout in the middle. Wow, this was hard! Holly and I did the run on the Ben Tyler trail, which we hadn't been on before. At an hour in, the trail was so rocky it wasn't a good spot to do the up/down part, so we kept going...ended up going all the way up to a saddle at about 2 hours in and still didn't find a good place, so we turned around and went almost back to the car before we found a good hill. So I was pretty tired before the up/down part, and that really wiped me out. Luckily it was all downhill to the car. :) Good workout! We didn't stop the watch at all so time includes the rests in between sprints and mileage is an estimate.

Running 1:20:00 [2] 7.0 mi (11:26 / mi)
shoes: NB 1210 Bright Blue

Easy run on Resthouse trail with Ralph. We wanted to see if enough snow had melted out to make this runnable, and it was in sections, but there's still quite a bit of snow in spots. That combined with the altitude (the trail starts at about 10,600) made this pretty slow.

Skye had her 12 week xrays last week and they looked good so I took her on her first short jog!

Easy run. I didn't notice it while climbing, but once I started running I noticed my legs were a little sore from yesterday's run. Took it pretty easy today.
