Tanglewood trail up to the saddle. Way more snow than I thought there would be. It even snowed on us a little.

I decided that because of my back injection last Tuesday, I'm going to do my workouts Wed-Tues this week, with my long run on Tuesday. I also have to be on campus on Monday, so this works better with my work schedule.

VO2 intervals. 15 min WU, strides, then 8x3:30 with 3 min walking in between. Started at 7:04, way too fast. Next couple were 7:09, 7:13, 7:19. Really couldn't hold these paces. Last 4 at 7:24, which seemed hard but doable. 15 min easy jog. I guess last time I did this wasn't a fluke, I just have a hard time with this workout. But I kind of want to keep doing it so I get better at it!

Long run on Bear Creek bike path. Holly was nice enough to forgo her trail run to join me on the pavement. One mile at slightly faster than MP near the end - not the last mile because the last mile is uphill. Made a really stupid mistake today - I must have been distracted when getting ready for the run, because I grabbed the wrong shoes. I brought my screw shoes by mistake! And to make it worse, there were no insoles in them. Got a small blister but otherwise did OK despite all that.
