Hiking 1:25:00 [2] 4.0 mi (21:15 / mi)

Running 2:45:00 [3] 17.6 mi (9:23 / mi) +895ft 8:57 / mi
shoes: Saucony Guide white and blue

Long run on Bear Creek bike path. We parked in a different place so the last 45 min would be flat/downhill instead of the usual uphill at the end. Easy except for MP last 45 minutes (managed to keep it at about 8:20). A bit tired today, and my knee was bothering me...I fell skiing last week, not much of a fall but my knee/quad was sore afterwards. It didn't bother me most of the week, but started acting up a little on the run. I don't think it's actually in the knee, more like the very bottom of the quad/top of the knee. Holly thinks its a mild strain/sprain. Going to ice it tonight.

Hiking 30:00 [1] 1.5 mi (20:00 / mi)

Hiking 2:15:00 [1] 7.0 mi (19:17 / mi)

Headed down 285 to do some skiing with the dogs and the further we went, the less snow there was. Looks like Evergreen got most of the snow from that last storm. We just ended up hiking instead.

Hiking 30:00 [1] 1.5 mi (20:00 / mi)

Running 1:30:00 [4] 8.8 mi (10:14 / mi)

VO2 max intervals on TM. 12 min WU and strides, then 8x0.5 mile with 3 min walking in between. Speed ranged from 7:19-7:30, not as fast as I hoped but I did this in Evergreen, not Denver. 10 min CD and 5 min walking. This was tough.

Hiking 30:00 [1] 1.5 mi (20:00 / mi)

Woke up to a foot of snow - that was a surprise!

Backcountry ski touring/skijoring 15:00 [3]

We went to Elk meadow thinking we'd ski instead of run today...but the snow was so heavy and wet, it just wasn't worth it. Too deep for the dogs, too.

Shoveling Snow 1:00:00 [3]

I'm counting this as the strength workout for the day! Snow was super wet and heavy.
