During the evening yesterday, after my run, I started getting some pain and maybe a little swelling in the quadricep just above my knee, and also some pain/stiffness behind the knee. Those areas are not where the pain in my knee was originally, which is weird. I wonder if it could just be some muscles around the knee that are not used to running after taking a month or so off, but I am worried that something is still wrong. If it's still feeling weird tomorrow, I may call the ortho doc and see if I need to get an MRI.
