Running (dirt road (snow covered)) 3:05:00 [3] 17.5 mi (10:34 / mi) +2123ft 9:29 / mi
ahr:144 max:167 slept:7.5 shoes: Rider

From the electric co-op up Rendezvous road til it ends, then back down to Gunn Ranch Rd to its end, then back to the co-op, with William and Skadi. Lots of small stops for dog training/shoe tying/etc.

Hamstrings felt pretty tight from mile 8 or so on. Started trying to use glutes more for extension instead of hamstrings.

Ate 2-3 gels (flask). Still felt full from dinner last night so I didn't eat breakfast, then wondered why I had no energy. Ha!

Running (on snow (trail)) 35:00 [2] 3.0 mi (11:40 / mi)
slept:8.0 shoes: Cross Lite

I wanted to check out the snowshoe trails around Freestone and heard that the Cedar Creek Trail was packed enough to run on. Not true. Went about 1/2 mile toward Cedar Creek and turned around since it was so frustrating. Then ran up the Hwy to check out Klipchuck, which was also annoying. So ran back to the car and drove to snowshoe trails on the way back. Also annoying. Then decided to go ski. I felt good, though. Didn't notice my arch, so that's great.

Skiing (skating) 40:00 [1] 8.0 km (5:00 / km)
slept:8.0

Skating with Skadi. She pulled really well for the first 1/2, then wasn't as into it so I had to actually work. Great fun, though.

Running (Road) 40:00 [3] 5.0 mi (8:00 / mi)
slept:6.5 shoes: Rider

Stressful dog day. Too much cleaning, not enough fun! Just ran down Lost River with Skadi. Started feeling my right arch. I think my riders have more miles than I thought. I got them in March, but really didn't run much on them once summer came, and I wasn't doing many miles this spring. Time for tib. posterior exercises. Other than my arch, I actually felt really good: quick and light. Wish I'd realized my client was at 5:30 instead of 5 so I could have gone further. Ate some pasta right before, that might have been part of it.

Running (Road) 55:00 [2] 6.0 mi (9:10 / mi)
slept:8.0 shoes: Rider

Out Lost River 3ish miles, then back, with Skadi. Hamstrings felt tight. I think it's back flexibility related.

Running (Road) 1:14:00 [3] 10.0 mi (7:24 / mi)
slept:9.0 shoes: Whisper

Out Lost River Rd to the airport and back with Skadi. Checked out Yellow Jacket Sno Park for fatass recon. Not runnable-not enough use yet to pack down the trails. Felt so good!

strength (helped with class) 1:30:00 [2]
shoes: Racer ST

Lots of core work, single legged squats, and deadlifts. Helped correct form and lead/show exercises. Cross-fit-esque.
