Orienteering (Mapping) 2 [3]

Reset two control points and walked some streams and ditches. More bad weather coming in tomorrow. This may be it for the map. If the weather finally improves, I may try to spend one more day cleaning up the east side of the map.

Orienteering (Mapping/Course setter) 45 [3]

Finished setting the rest of the controls. Need to come back tomorrow and walk a couple of streams and ditches on the east side of the map. Also might want to change one control point for the red course.

Finally braved the snow and went out and worked on the courses for March 13. I managed to finish all the controls to the north and the entire west half. I'm planning on finishing the course setting tomorrow.

And today was the dermatologist to get my nose carved. There are a couple of small bumps on the right side of the nostril that have been bleeding off and on for several years. No more! Then I got to have lunch with Mary Ann and Bob, and went home and took a nap.

Snow again! It's pretty icy out there. I'm really getting tired of winter. The dentist today. Finally finished with the crown. That was enough stress for one day.

Run/Walk 55 [3] 4.0 mi (14 / mi)

Ran/walked the path at Watkins Mill. It was snowing and I only saw two people, but the path was pretty good. I did stop and walk the wooden bridges, because they were pretty slippery.

Needed to get out and run before the Super Bowl party at Donna's, and work off some calories. It felt good to run, since I have been spending most of the better weather days at Smithville working on the map. I also need to practice a little running before going to Raleigh in two weeks, since my running has been mostly nonexistent this winter because of the weather and mapping.
