Cycling - Road 4:20:00 [3] 110.0 km (25.4 kph)

Rode with the boys (Yip, Brock, Kev & Sean) for 2 hours, then met up with PJ who was on a mission to do repeats of Scenic Caves for 3hrs. I stayed for 6 repeats (~13-15min up & 3min down) then called it a day.

Kayaking 2:15:00 [2]

Down-river kayak from Epping to Thornbury. With the rain yesterday the river was up approx. 2 feet, which made the run to Thornbury possible again. I had a swim above the Clarksburg rapid, but luckily it was only thigh deep, which made getting myself sorted easier.

Running 2:00:00 [3] 24.0 km (5:00 / km)

Stashed the boat & ran back to the car. Gravel roads, double-track, single track, a little bushwacking b/w concessions & some good hills.

45 min. of up tempo running while setting some controls for a nav clinic in Horseshoe Valley for Bill T.'s leadership group. Then hiked for 1.5hrs, so we'll call it 1 hr of training.

Cycling - Road tempo 2:17:00 [3] 70.0 km (30.7 kph)

Got pummelled by a head/crosswind through Ravena enroute to Scenic Caves. Didn't have to touch the brakes down scenic caves, as the headwind held me up.

Beaver Valley - Ravena loop.
avg. speed 30.4kph

Kayaking 3:15:00 [1] 22.0 km (6.8 kph)

Easy paddle on the Beaver. The water is back up from the rain & I was able to put-in at Slabtown & paddle up river to Epping & back. 2:15 up river, 1hr back down. If the rain continues a bit more the water might be high enough for a run down to Thornbury again.
