Trail run 3:50:00 [2]
shoes: Brooks Adrenalin

Ran around Kolapore. Recently got a pair of some compression sleeves for the calves. As fruity as they look, I have to admit I find they work really well. I usually get tight/sore calves ~2.5hrs into long runs & with these things on it's not near as bad. Might have to look at some compression shorts now, yikes, that'll be an awesomely stylish combo.

Went over to Wasgaa to check out the Notawasaga River. Started at the Sports Park & paddeld to G-Bay & back. Some small rapids & swifts along the way. Pretty dirty water, lots of cottagers & partying in Wasaga, pretty entertaining.

Trail run 1:15:00 [2]

Cruising around the trails at Blue Mountain. Highly reccommend the Cascade Trail that starts at the south lodge, must be hundreds of steps built of rocks & logs.

Mountain Bike 2:15:00 [3]

Rode over to 3 Stage via the climb up Osler, hit a newish trail that drops down the PRV road, nice technical descent, great to be riding the trails again.

Mountain Bike 5:25:00 [2]

Rode over to Beaver Valley Ski Club via scenic caves rd. then rode the Valley-to-Village mtb course back to Blue. Great ride with lots of climbs, double track & singletrack.

I picked up my new mtb a few weeks ago, but have only recently been taking it out, as it looked too pretty & I was waiting for the trails to dry out:

It has a new SRAM 2X10 XX groupset (http://sram2x10.com/) and I wasn't sure if I liked it at first, since it was missing some of the easiest gearing, but after todays long ride on sore legs from yesterdays run, I think I'm sold. I think the fact that the bike is pretty light (21.75lbs), negates the need for the lower gears.
