Run 1:10:00 [3]

On the Basing trail which turned out to be a bit of memory-O.

Every now again there would be a map where I'd try to memorise where the route went. There were some small green stickers/markers that were supposed to mark the route however they were very economical with putting those out!! There were a number of occasions (including the very first marker I found) where there was a marker then 20m or so along there would be multiple paths. So that made for a bit of route choice!

Anyway found my way around with quite a number of detours and double-backs. Made the bus with 10 minutes to spare so all good.

Note

Now in Basingstoke and have found a 7 mile route (the Basing Trail) that I'll try to run on Saturday morning as long as I get up early enough to get that in before I catch a 10:25am bus to heathrow.

With my current sleeping habits this shouldn't be a problem as the only morning I've been able to sleep past 4 or 5am was the morning when I didn't get to bed until 4:30am...

Feeling a bit sleep deprived however I've got 24+ hours on a plane to catch some up n the way home
6 AM

Run 45:00 [3]

Around Hyde Park from the hotel. Didn't feel all that great however was pretty good considering the last week I've had!

Note

No gym in the hotel in amsterdam and being at the airport running on busy roads wasn't all that attractive. As it turned out I had no chance of doing anything at all as I went from hotel to trade show to dinner to hotel to trade show to dinner to hotel to...

In london I'm in a hovel ( and a very mediocre one at that) no gym but that's OK as it's fairly close to parks so will see if I can get a run in tomorrow morning. The way I'm feeling it won't be pretty...
