Orienteering (OY8) 1:30:30 [3]
(injured)

White Lightning

Caused a bit of lower back damage putting out signs on the way up first thing this morning - rather painful spasm making things pretty uncomfortable :-(

Managed to run largely OK but had to stop some (particularly towards the end) when things got too painful

Walk 4:33:00 [3]

Waitaks, from falls rd, fenceline, rgb, mosquito, upper kauri, back to falls rd with Carole. A bit of to'ing and fro'ing as I went back to make sure I didn't get too far in front ;-)

Was planning on heading up andersons but they've closed it. Apparently there's a risk of a cliff not staying entirely a cliff so they'd prefer not to wipe out anyone if/when it does happen.

My first time on rgb, not entirely sure I'll do it again as it was pretty dodgy going down. Maybe it's not so bad going the other way? Although it would of course be pretty steep.

Huge kauri wiped out towards the bottom of upper kauri track. Trees are supposed to have their roots pointing down and branches pointing up not the other way around - bummer. Wonder if they're considering recovering any of the timber?

Run 26:00 [3]

wobbly, dizzy, funny vision, not good, so cut this run well short of what I was thinking of doing.

maybe fallout from a migraine I had yesterday afternoon (although that didn't seem to affect my ride home last night)?

Road bike (commute) 54:00 [3]

From Westgate
6 PM

Road bike (Commute) 51:00 [3]

And back to Westgate

Pushed a bit harder, managed 35+kph for quite a stretch of the bikepath, must have been a tail wind

Pushed for the first stretch of triangle road hill then died a bit, so slow slog up to the top
