Orienteering race (OY2 Course 2) 1:31:06 [3]

A bit tired and slow but that's to be expected after yesterday

Nav was pretty good, just one control I pulled up short and went back to check out another control (not mine of course)

One dodgy bit of mapping where I went the long way around an uncrossable fence, through all sorts of crap to discover that there was a huge (unmapped) opening at the end of the fence that you could drive a bus through!!

Up zanders through to top of ararimu valley then into the forest. Lots of tracks (maybe ~2.5 hours worth), up, down and around. And up. And down.

Maybe somewhere around 750m climb (according to my very rough route on mapometer)

From forestry rd, up tracks to top of browns, road loop around to barlow then normal barlow, trig, long bush loop

newton rd, williamson, coxs creek, too dark for jaggers bush (and forgot headlight) so jervois, curran, viaduct, anzac, symonds, grafton bridge

calfs a little tight towards end, ankle OK
