Went OK for the first ~1:30 then discovered I'd sort of overdone it coming down long bush. It got a little ugly towards the top of Barlow. Oh well, legs are allowed to walk as well

Not too bad a run though considering yesterday's effort and that I had some stomach trouble the previous week so low on energy - seem to have recovered OK now. And can still run. Phew.

From cascades: Upper Kauri, long rd, ridge rd, up anawhata rd to piha rd then down upper huia dam, up christies, ian wells, cutty grass, scenic dr (somehow missed spraggs bush), fenceline

Managed to just about face-plant into a swampy bit when the dead tree that someone had kindly placed across it broke in two...

A bit of walking on the hills at the end as I ran out of get-up-and-go.

Calfs tightened up as well
