Third Race - Classic - 4.2 km - ???

This was the worst race that I have had so far. I was doing well until I was on point four. Basically I shot an azimuth and measured to point four, but I had a left drift and I didn't look at the map well enough. I knew when I hit a stream the point would be about 50 meters away in a draw. So, I hit the stream and and started looking for it. Turns out that it was the wrong stream and I needed to keep going, but I didn't know that. Instead I was positive it should have been around their. Until about 40 minutes later when I finally realized I needed to keep going and I was to short. I did not see the small stream, that I ran into, on the map therefore I thought it was the right stream. I realized I had hit the wrong stream, but I had no idea where I was so I went back to the road. Worst race of my life.
