I entered Arvin Gym at around 4pm or 1600 for you "Hooah" people. I walked into the '67 fitness room, or whatever you call it, and was taken aback by the lack of cadets in there. "Sweet," I thought to myself, "I should be able to access the machines I need too." I proceeded to the middle hall that divided the two workout rooms to take off my track pants and top. That being taking care of, I made my way back to the fitness room to find, to my horror, that there were now two cadets at the bench press machine. For the sake of this story we'll refer to these two cadets as Harry and Lloyd; if this gives you any idea how pathetic and worthless their workout really was. Anyways, this was a big deal to me as this was the machine I always started my workout with so after giving Harry and Lloyd, glaring looks for a few minutes, the two finally got up to leave; most likely intimidated by my awesome presence. Finally, the bench press machine being free, I adjusted the seat to fit my massively huge body, and set the weights from the "50" whimpy pounds Harry and Lloyd had been working with to my impressive weight of "160" pounds. I proceeded to do 10 reps of my weight, got up and switched to the leg press, as I always do. Well, as I was doing my reps on the leg press, guess who decides to come back on over to the bench press machine? Yep, Harry and Lloyd. They must have thought it was safe for the moment since they didn't see me by the machine, but soon the tall lanky blonde w/ glasses, the one I refer to as Harry, made eye contact with me and instantly broke into a sweat. Harry, now nervous at seeing me finish with the leg press and make my way back to the bench press machine, decided to hurry with his reps before I got there. Well, Harry tried with all of his wee-little might to move those weights, but he just couldn't. Harry couldn't figure out what the problem was, don't worry folks, I knew instantly what was the problem. Harry, out-of-breath at this point, commented to his brown-haired friend, Lloyd, "Wow, man I really should lower my reps to 6 on my first set from now on, I've hit a wall." Harry's friend, Lloyd, whom apparently must've been a lot brighter than his counterpart, replied with, "Dude, you're lifting like 10 times more than what you normally do." Harry than looked at the weights, and noticing his error in judgement and my lack of patience at dumb and dumber taking up my valuable lifiting time, quickly changed the weight from "160" to "70". Harry knocked out his 4 and a half pathetic reps, got up from the machine flexing his arms, saw me laughing at him, and quickly scampered away to the other end of the room, to do the rest of his WOW workout with his friend Lloyd. I hope I never see these two ever again.
