running (Snowshoe running trail) 45 [3] 4.0 mi (11 / mi)
I Drove 40 minutes to run the North Country Trail today. I ran for 45 minutes on rolling hills with 8" of snow on the trails. It was a toss up between running with just trail shoes or snowshoes . I decided to wear the snowshoes since the snow depth was around 8 inches. I'm not sure if it was a good decision going with the snowshoes because it was a warm day and the snow was wet and sticky, but got one hell of a workout in 45 minutes with my heavy shoes. I felt really good today but had to cut it short for a family issue.
