Walking 50:00 [1]

Hiking on the Corkstown map to check out how the new Garmin's tracks fit on the LiDAR/orthophotos. Still sore from yesterday so I took it easy.
Waypoints turned out very well. Sharp corners on the trails were not accurate on the GPS tracks. Will have to keep the unit on top of my pack and run it at maximum points capture. And slow down at the important corners. Still a lot better than the old eTrex and uploading to OCAD was easy.

Cycling 45:00 [1]

Nice cycle along the river in perfect weather. Spring is definitely here!
Worked in the garden for a couple of hours and helped out at the adult clinic - so burned a few calories. Then I bought my first ice cream cone of the summer on my way home. Yum!

Walking 25:00 [1]

Poor time management so only put in a short walk and minimal stretch.

Orienteering 1:06:00 [2]

Speed walked the 5.2 Km course. 12.7 min/Km on a flattish, easy area. One minute pit stop. Could I do 14 m/k on a difficult course?
Kept the stride very short and moved gently on the hills. No spasms or cramps. Things stretched out fairly easily. That massage on Thursday must have helped a lot.

Note

Standing around helping at the Rogaine for about 7 hours. So I am dragging my butt around again. Nice to see a lot of orienteering buddies.
Maybe I will do a course tomorrow to get the blood and brain moving.

Walking 58:00 [1]

Nice walk along the river to the train bridge. Nice to get back to some sort of "planned" exercise after a week of bits and pieces on the bike and footpaths.
My adductors have been very sore and my UT complaining and generally feeling tired.
A massage on Thursday seems to have aided in the recovery of the Adductors but I am still in a low-energy funk. Weight is also moving in the wrong direction. Maybe it's just the weather?

Mapping 2:00:00 [1]

Stiff from yesterday's bike ride so I took it easy. Woods are very wet but the trails were ok. Adductors are sore this evening.

Cycling 1:06:00 [2]

First ride of the year down the canal to Bytown locks. Bike path was full of walkers and cyclists, etc. so somewhat slow but it was so nice to ride!

Walking 56:00 [1]

With Mumsey down along the river until we were stopped by the ice on the bikepath.

Walking 1:11:00 [1]

Good walk over Hartwell to check out the condition of the bike paths. Must get on the bike soon. Hip was fine.
Good stretch and strength afterwards. Weight won't budge from 4 weeks ago.

Walking 59:00 [1]

Revelstoke loop in the sunshine and fair temperatures. Adductors complaining a bit now - more than they have in along while.

Walking 1:03:00 [1]

Along the canal to Careton. Felt good. Bit stiff later in the day

Walking 43:00 [1]

Still not feeling 100% so I was an easy walk to the falls through the park. It's still cold but the bike path is mostly clear so the cycle option is coming up as soon as it gets to +8 or so.

Walking 58:00 [1]

Nice walk with Mumsey along the bike path along Sawmill creek. A few snowy bits but otherwise very nice. Best weather yet - +15C.
Feeling tired and my stomach is on edge. Can't figure out why. Hope it's not a bug.
