Lots of squats and abs work with MU on line. Stomach upset from all the crunchies. Still not close to doing a roll-up.

It was a little bit cool (8 degrees) but sunny and not too windy so it was a comfortable day for bashing a ball back and forth. My long game was OK, but my lousy chipping killed any chance for a reasonable scoring.
Hit the tough last green in regulation then 3 putts from 20 feet. Same old story.

Sunny but cool day at an area in Nakkertok south. Mostly thick woods, not many good control features, but it had to be done for the trail network.

After working hard at Jennie's yesterday, I was very stiff in the back and shoulders. So I really needed a good stretching class. Feel better but still a bit tired. And a million leaves await raking!

relatively easy class but hard on my lower back. Too many backward arching moves for my comfort.

Erratic 9 holes with the regulars at FR. Might be the last comfortable - temperature-wise - game this season. Still, it was a nice return to a game that I had not played in 20 years, except for the one or two fund-raising tournaments that I join once and a while.

Note

45 minute massage with Travis focusing on the lower back. Quite sore now.

Nice walk in the rain around the Revelstoke loop. Never had to stop for the calf, jus a bit of slow down.

Missed a few days of “formal” exercise with the cottage close-up. Lots of walking and lifting.
The golf today was fun but my swing was as loose as ever. Some great shots and some duds. Putting was useless.

18 holes at Falcon Ridge with the guys. Many many swings and lots of walking back and forth. Feet are sore. No benches so that’s a long time on my old feet.

First O event since last fall. Leg cramped up a couple of times causing me to stop. Huge error on #9. Brain dead after climbing a hill, I missed an intersection and wound up far, far, away from where I expected to be. Haven’t made a mistake like that in a long time.

Some very tricky and rocky terrain on the west side of Nakkertok. So didn’t get very much done.

More upper body exercises than usual but we needed that. Do lots of lifting at the cottage!

Walking 56:00 [2] 5.1 km (10:59 / km)

Brisk Ali with mumsey around the Revelstoke loop. Calves were a bit sore but never cramped. That’s better than the last time I did this walk a couple of months ago.

Got set of stretches except for the QL stretch that really hurts my back. So I lay-off that one and go to a shell stretch.

Blustery weather but generally nice to be out with the golf buddies. Golf was as inconsistent as ever. Everything from a birdie 2 to an 11.
