A brisk walk in a brisk wind along the canal. No aches. Will start walk/running again to-morrow.

XC Skiing 30:00 [1]

Skiing up and down parkway waiting for Jennie in the loppett. Beautiful day, 0C and sunny. Adductors were not happy but I was.

Stationary Bike 35:00 [2]

Quick spin in afternoon. Hip felt fine. Still does after 5 hours. Who knew?

Walking 50:00 [1]

5K Revelstoke loop in mild but windy weather. Tempted to run but I thought better of it. Hip was tight but otherwise fine. Stretch was good.
Bearing down on my diet. Bread/desserts/snacks gotta go entirely cause the scale is not moving.

Massage at 3 was really painful. IT Band is part of the problem now. After 1 hour I think Travis was pooped!
Walk to Carleton along canal. Big melt today - canal may be finished for the season unless we get another cold spell. Good stretch afterwards but hip still aches.

Worst hip pain in a long time last night. Don't know what triggered it. Lousy sleep on my back with legs supported. Off to masseur this afternoon.

A nice brisk walk with my sweetie before gorging on seafood at Pelicans for Valentines Day.
Forget the scales! Back to simpler menu to-morrow.

Revelstoke 5K. Nice afternoon but still icy. Hip only sore when I stop. Good stretch afterwards.
