Walking 1:20:00 [1]

Good walk in Don Valley on beautiful day. Stiff from previous day's 9 hour on-my-feet session.

Walking 3:00:00 [1]

3 hours of walking/hiking in the Dundas valley for workshop courses plus another 6 hours on my feet. Felt surprisingly good but tired. Tougher to sit down for long periods.

Note
(rest day)

Travel to Dundas for workshop. Was pretty wired after 6 hours on the road. Talked too fast, must have looked disorganized. Good sleep at T&C.

Stretch & Strength 25:00 [1]

Rest day before trip to TO/HAM. Hip feels OK.

walk/run 45:00 [2] 5.0 km (9:00 / km)

Another walk/run on Revelstoke loop. Glute cramped at start but loosened up after 2K. Felt pretty good at end. Ran fast enough that my quads actually felt stressed.

Walking 55:00 [3] 5.0 km (11:00 / km)

ended up walking with Doug and the wippets Wilson & Winne on the Revelstoke loop.
So had to say hello to every other dog walker and hold Winnie back from chasing anything that moves. When she saw a ground hog in a culvert she just went nuts! A 25 pound dog just about pulled my arm off!
Felt good in evening but should have stretched more - was tight when I went to bed.

walk/run 44:00 [2] 5.0 km (8:48 / km)

A long awaited walk/run since the last injection. Felt fine during run. Glutes really stiff later. I have to apply the standing glute/periformis more often durning the run - even though it looks weird. 20-30 minutes of stretch/strengh every day becoming routine. Maybe not enough?
