Orienteering 1:22:23 [2]

After floundering around last weekend, I was determined to focus on my navigation. Worked well, only one miss at #9. The small cliff face actually faces uphill from an unmarked depression. Shouldn't have missed it, I had a good attack point.
Quads are really sore, but the hip is OK. 16.2 minutes per Km in flattish terrain. On a perfect day I might do 15 min/km but that is all the pain I can tolerate.

Cycling 1:58:30 [1]

Nice ride to Beechwood to visit Mum and Pops grave on his birthday and for Mother's Day. Then the loop along the Ottawa River to the west side of the canal and home. Quads were burning. Good stretch afterwards. And early to bed!

Walking 1:30:00 [1]

Hard to say exactly how much time was actually walking but I was on my feet helping at 2 training events for about 3 hours. Jennie had 90 high school kids at the morning session. The teachers were not able to stagger the arrival of the rambunctious 14/15 year-olds, many of whom wished to be anywhere else.
Jennie did an amazing job. She doesn't tolerate the disruptive behaviour of some of the kids while finding ways of encouraging the others.
