XC Skiing 25:00 [1]

Yay - first (almost) painless XC ski since two winters ago. Mind you, the glutes are humming and will want some special attention. Had the energy to do more but I could feel that the hip area was weary.
No surprise - my conditioning is terrible - stopped many times to catch my breath and enjoy the moment. Sunny, -6C , no wind, the only sounds were the distant giggles and hoots from the kids tobogganing on Mount Mooney.

Walking 1:01:00 [1]

A pleasant walk on the Revelstoke loop. Can't say my stride is fully relaxed and extended but it is slowly getting better. Still some cramping in the lower leg but seems to be receding too.

Walking 1:01:00 [1]

Very cold but no wind so it was a pleasant walk around the 5k Revelstoke loop. Possibly the easiest too since the operation. Was able to stride out without pain or stiffness. Good stretch afterwards but the glutes are letting me know they will be sore later.

Walking 33:00 [1]

Feeling better today but something is still hanging around in my chest. Sleeping better. Easy walk over to the park. Still not enough snow to set classic tracks.

Walking 31:00 [1]

For the second week in a row, my cold relapsed over a Monday night. Felt like a new cold was starting. So I went back to bed and slept for an hour after 2 morning coffees. That is not like me.
Rainy weather in the afternoon but I started my walk just as the temperatures dropped and everything turned to ice. So I cut the walk short and came home for a good stretch and a hot bath. With eggnog. Feel better now.
