Went to see Bev, my physio, to see what she thought about my leg cramps and pain. Didn't take her long to see that my gait was out of kilter and that I had developed that bad habit back when the old hip was failing. The outside of my right shoe heel was badly worn down. So I have been compensating for my wonky hip with a supinated style of walking.
So, I am practising with my new gait and guess what - it bugs my glutes - just like the old days. But that, for now, is a good thing.
