Down Hill skiing 5:00:00 [2]

First day downhill skiing with my knee injury. Was a little tentative but all went well. Felt good to get out. Knee felt tired but didn't tweak it at all.

Night Orienteering 1:35:00 [3] * 7.97 mi (11:55 / mi)
ahr:148 max:170

Night O in Lakeview. Street/neighborhood Orienteering.

Knee felt it running in the snow across the school fields. Not really ready for that yet! A little longer than planned, but I made it and found all of the control flags. Very tired by the end with the morning Tabata work out as well.

Running 36:00 [2] 5.21 mi (6:55 / mi)
ahr:150 max:167

My first real run since injuring knee in mid Nov. 2009. Got the okay to do some easy walk/run training. Knee felt good after the x-country skiing, so gave running a try. Stayed on path for most of way. Some uneven terrain through Princes' Island Park. Feel the weakness in my left hamstring and calf. Some knee pain near the end of the run. Subsided with walk break of 1 min. Felt good to get out again!
