Duathlon race 1:21:00 [5] 18.0 km (4:30 / km)

Xterra Duathlon at COP. Mountain biking at east slopes of COP - 2 loops then a run up alongside the ski jumps across the top and down the ski hill to the bikes. 2 more bike loops. Bike was fun, not too technical, fast in places and plenty of good climbs. The "run" was more of a quick hike up the steep section. Took it easy on the steep section coming down. Did not want to hurt my ankle or my knee!

2nd in the women +40 category.

From home-Crowchild trail bridge on the north side back on south side of the river through Princes Island Park. Waht a beautiful morning to be out for a run! Hope to continue with this early morning stuff now that the kids don't have to get up quite so early to catch the bus to school.

orienteering 53:00 [3]

Sprint training on the Snake Hill map in Sundre. A really fun sprint or should I say "one person relay"! My second runner (ha, ha) made a few small mistakes, but recovered quickly. 3 distinct areas of the map made for some fun oreinteering. Good flow by the end. I usually don't enjoy sprints, but I really liked this one! Maybe there is hope for me.
