Hiking 2:00:00 [3]

Got out for a short hike with the family. Drove up to Moose Mountain trail head. Started in on the road then did a little exploring. Found a mountain bike trail along a ride. Good views. A great day to be out in the mountains. Sunny and warm.

Okay, I couldn't pass up a gorgeous sunny, hot Nov. day. Backed out of Tabata workout this morning and headed to the mountains. Wow, what a day! Sunny skies by the time I hit the trail and boy did it heat up! Mind you it could have been all the climbing that the Sulphur Springs trail dished out. My book says 300 m of elevation. Where did they get that from! My Garmin says 997m ascent and there were many points that the climbing seemed endless! The descents were a nice break that's for sure. My knee managed well. It is getting better with all of the needling I am enduring from my friendly physio!

Tabata Interval Work 45:00 [4]

The last round of Turkish Get ups for this session. Actually they are getting easier, and they are very functional. They use about every muscle in the body. I was up to lifitng 12.5 lbs. for the entire session. I sure flet it by the last round!

Running 47:39 [4] 8.15 km (5:51 / km)

A quick temp run on the path from home to the zoo and back on the north side of the river. Had to take advantage of the nice weather while the kids were at rock climbing. Felt good to push the pace a little.
