Skiing in Fernie. Legs felt a little tired, but not bad at all. My neck was a little tight from using my new water pack on my long run. Skied hard with the boys on their snow boards. Snow was awesome. Hit the trees as much as possible. So much fun!

Long run for the week. Such a beautiful day to be out. Path had lots of slippery patches, so you had to be attentive! Felt pretty good. Definitely feel it, but I seem to be recovering well. Experimented with taping the ball of my right foot. Worked well. Experimented with eating solid food as well. Dates, almonds, dried apricots and energy chews seemed to work well. Supposed to ski in Fernie tomorrow! We'll see how that goes.
Switching to 2 weight training sessions and 1 tabata session/week on Lynnell's advice. This is good, as after weight training I feel like I could run, but not after the tabata sessions. Will work on improving posterior chain strength.

Good run on north path to zoo then through Inglewood and along south path to 17 ave. Crossed over the river and up to the Max Bell Path. Hit the snowstorm coming back around the zoo on the north side. Could hardly see! A good run though.
20-10 tabata intervals. Felt good to get back at it after 2 weeks off! Legs tired and hip flexors tight from the weekend of skiing, but my energy level is back!
