Orienteering at Nolde Park - woods pretty trashy. A missing trail on the first control was annoying and unhelpful, I butchered the 10th control (truly brain-dead and inexplicable), and made an unlucky route choice to #11 (impenetrable white woods). I did have plenty of energy on very nice day in the woods.

Wandered Ridley working on courses. Definite progress. Wore shorts, thinking that if I could get to a feature in shorts, it will be an acceptable feature - at least briar-wise. I think I have a few good ideas.

At Ridley Creek, doing a couple of hours of course planning. Ridley is such a challenge - I almost have to work backwards (no armchair courses, then vet) by finding areas folks could stand to run (walk, be) in, then looking for ways to connect them that don't hurt. But - that's why they pay me the big bucks.
