Stretches per therapist. Sandy: added one - the lie on stomach, extend arms raise and lower opposite arms and legs off mat. 10 reps, 3 sets. Harder than it seems - does stuff to small of back.

Took 10 minutes off this for Oscar playing with a bunch of dogs - Crum Meadow.
Did my first round of stretches. Might help. Certainly seem to target correct area - but gently.

I took ten minutes off of the time for stopping to talk to a young man sitting on a bridge abutment (not a high one) overlooking Crum Creek and weeping. He eventually said he'd lost a favorite uncle today and that he would be OK. Also for stopping later to talk to friends.

Good news on the hip issue. The therapist says it is NOT my hip giving up, but sciatica from the piriformis muscle. The sciatic nerve runs either by it or through it. Apparently lots of knowledgeable stretching will likely fix.
