Another easy and pleasant NYD walk from Dunsfold church to Hambledon via H Hurst, then back along Greensand Way and via Peartree Green (c.8 miles). Took a precautionary ibuprofen as was creaky setting off, but that really may have been the beer/wine combo?

Easy walk from The Mens to Flexham Park then back via Bedham (10k, 200m). Was sore from yesterday but not as sore as last week, even though went 2 miles further. Encouraging? This walk helped too.

Repeated the route I did with Lu in August 2015 in build up to Oxford Half. From Amberley station through North Stoke and up Camp Hill, then down to Burpham, up again to Wepham Down (lovely climb on grass), then round Harrow and Blackpatch Hills on Monarchs Way to the Longfurlong Road. Then up to the SDW above Windlesham School and past Springhead and Rackham Hills to finish. No luxury of stopping and waiting (and chatting and resting) this time, although I did stop the watch when I went wrong at Michelgrove and Myrtle Grove. Felt good for about 10 miles but was pretty done in for the last forty minutes. I suppose that's the point though, isn't it. Route was in very good trim almost throughout and weather was glorious.
