Walk (Billi to Barnham) 9:00:00 [3] 22.5 mi (24:00 / mi)
At last, something to log. If only a walk. But it was a tough one. Really beginning to regret the lack of meaningful activity. I'd discovered that being barefoot in the house helps massively with posture generally, so decided to tackle a walking challenge with a positive attitude rather than focus on the problems. Newbridge to Amberley on the Wey-South path, then round the Arun meanders and through Arundel Park, and finally Tortington Common and Walberton to the station at Barnham. Very hot. Carried a litre but needed a pint of lemonade at Stopham plus a litre and a half of Highland Spring and a coke at Amberley stores. Set off as though I was doing the Serpents Trail again, but was quite sore and more tired in the last three miles. Good route though, on the whole, and very peaceful.
