Washington CP, Chanctonbury Ring, SDW to Botolphs, Steyning, Wiston, Chanctonbury again. Left heel sore by the end. Cold wind. Superb baked potato with crayfish mayo in Steyning Tea Rooms.

Thinking positive, left shoulder, glute and heel and right toe were no handicap at all, despite no anti-inflammatories. Pace on third lap, when I did push on, was almost equal of first. No tightness in chest, which I'm pretty sure must reflect the much better (+20 bpm) average hr. Without that I've no chance of getting back to form. Muddy at the bottom.
