| A few top to bottom runs on the one open trail, plus a lot with Ethan. It felt like about 20 minutes of running by the end, so that's how I'll log it. Not very scientific, but ah well. |

| With Andy, up Mt Kearsarge until the ice and running water on the granite bedrock got too treacherous. Didn't make the summit - we'll have to save it for a day without ice. Felt great though! |

| Assault on Mt Hood 5km ish. Golf course with lotsa hills, mostly smaller and one bigger, many steep. Too much on paved paths for my liking, but still plenty on grass too. I think I paced it surprisingly well considering I haven't run a 5km for a long time. It was fun. Won a beer, and got a pint glass instead of a t-shirt - so I guess that makes it final: a good race. |

Quad was okay! A little tight maybe on the 38 second 200, so I didn't push it more.
I felt fine, injury worry was the limiting factor on the speed, not fitness. Race Sunday, then I can take some risks again. |

| 5pm. Feeling good. Had to warm up well and speed up slowly - as long as there were no sudden bursts, the quad was okay. But sudden surges were not okay. |
