| I've decided to put it at level 5 as my pulse and breathing really get going. It feels good though - like I am strengthening all the right muscles. I tried to really focus on form and cadence. |

| IT band tight, but I decided to try anyway. It doesn't seem any worse afterward than before. I stretched very well after this session. |

| Got the circuit settled this time. It definitely feels like it is working the muscles in a different way, and building hill running strength. We'll see if a month of this gets me in better shape for all the trail races!

| Early am. Knee brace. IT band sore after, knee doesn't seem better, but not worse either. Which is nice after the longish trail run yesterday. |

| With Wendy in the Fells. Felt good today. IT band sore afterward (mostly at the hip). Wore the knee brace again today, we'll see if that helps. |

| Worked out a bounding session on trails, as it just isn't going to work for me on the roads. Now we'll see if I can keep it up for 4 weeks. It felt hard, but great. |
