Friday May 2

running warm up/down (roads) 22:00 [2]
shoes: Asics 2130
15 warm up, 7 down. Mid-day and about 50 degrees. Perfect for running.
running hills (roads) 19:00 [4]
max:170 shoes: Asics 2130
4 x School Street. Felt very unfit, but tried to concentrate and keep driving my arms and legs (even if my strides were ridiculously short). Times were 2:30, 2:27, 2:31, 2:31. Hopefully I can be much faster than that in a month or two!

Thursday May 1

Hard to know just how much was at Tempo pace. I found the hills very hard, but then got to 6:30 pace easily on the flat.

Tuesday Apr 29

Horrendous headache today. Thought it was stress, and it did feel less bad when running, but then equally bad as soon as I stopped. Ah well.
On the plus side, the Ibuprofen, which I don't often take, cures not only the head but also helps the ITB.

With Wendy in the Fells. Having a weekend running buddy is so great. So tired before, much better afterward! Running is the best stress reliever.
Back to school tomorrow (38 days left, not that I'm counting). Not ready.
