Note
(injured)

Heels painful.

orienteering race 49:00 [3]
(injured)

Got orthotics into the VJs, which seemed to help somewhat. Needed to have done it yesterday! It isn't a perfect fit, but I think the shoes will stretch to fit the orthotics in time.

Another pretty clean run. Still hesitant. Bought a magnifier, the kind you wear on your head, it made a big difference, but I hadn't tightened it enough, so it was flopping around. I can't use it while I'm moving, so I have to stand still to read the map. Think I may also try a hand held one (but there weren't any for sale that day).

running (shadowing) 15:00 [2]
(injured)

Heels already hurting. Felt like fartlek. Ethan did a great job on a long white course.

orienteering race 49:00 [3]

Felt okay, but very rusty and hesitant. Clean run. Eyes are definitely in need of help though, couldn't tell the stone walls from the trails - it was DARK in the woods!

Heels hurt immediately afterward, and for most of the following week.

running (roads) 43:00 [2]
shoes: Pegasus4

Tried to stretch a bit. Tired.

running warm up/down (treadmill) 20:00 [2]
shoes: Asics 2130 Gold

1 mile warm up, then stretch, then .5 then intervals. And .75 cool down, very roughly. I can't actually remember the cool down time!

running intervals (treadmill) 23:00 [5]
shoes: Asics 2130 Gold

Guessing at the time, as I can't remember ...
But I know the intervals were 2 x 800 with 400 recovery at 3:02 pace, then 4 x 400 with 400 recovery at 89 for the first two and 87 for the second two. Then it was time for dinner!
