10 warm up, very easy; 3 cool down (late for work).

running (treadmill) 9:00 [3]
shoes: Triumph ISO 5

Waking up - still warming up ... pace about 8:40.

running tempo (treadmill) 18:00 [4]
shoes: Triumph ISO 5

Got the pace down to 7:35 very gradually. Felt very much that it was the morning. But not awful for 7am. Right ITB annoyed - must roll it tonight.

shoes: Triumph ISO 5

3 warm up, 2 cool down. Made it to work on time.

6 PM

Ski Erg 40:00 [2]

Steady, with efforts during commercial breaks - faster cadence and up on the balls of my feet.
Tried to focus on using my core, still don't feel like I have the form exactly right.

10 AM

Skate Skiing 2:05:00 [3]

With Andy and Kari C. at Waterville. Gorgeous winter day, views of mountains, good company, squeaky new snow, well groomed.... ahhhhh.

Up Tripoli got my heart rate up. Then Wicked Easy and Moose Run. Then Livermore Road. Got tired by the last bit.
2 PM

Nordic Skiing (Classic) 50:00 [2]

After a lunch stop switched to classic. My legs and brain didn't know what to do! At least it worked some different muscles.

Have had two days of awesome skiing now (Pineland Farms on 1/1 also). Hoping for more, but trying to appreciate them when they come.

Why did I pick the heavy shovel?
7 PM

Pilates/Yoga 20:00 [1]

Taking it easy between the track workout and the ski day.
