Really slow and low energy, so I didn't push. I focused on visualizing and matching terrain to map - especially in the most technical areas. And focused on not stopping and walking, which is what my body felt like doing pretty much the whole time. But it was fun to be in the woods. Going slow meant that it was pretty clean.

Felt wobbly at the start, then warmed up and felt okay-but-not-strong, then started feeling wobbly again. With 10% of school out sick today, I decided to listen to my body and stop.

LJM day number 8. Number 11 for the family. Current cost of family season pass is $27 per ski. My goal was under $5 ... we need some snow!

Not a great week at work. Stressed and exhausted. Walking was what I could manage.

Gradually working the pace down. It is much easier at 8am than it is at 6am. 15 warm up , 2 cool down (so as not to be late for work).

Got down to 7:30 pace, but average was more like 7:40. Still haven't fully accepted that my tempo pace is my old 'regular pace.' So I'm going to try to get faster :-)
