Bike section of the Open 5 race. Apparently I'm getting better at biking but still felt like i was being slow on the first section. I did feel a bit faster going down tho and definitely went faster than normal in the final few miles as we were racing to get back within the time limit. 24 secs late in the end, mainly due to getting stuck behind a slower than usual sunday driver on Sedburgh high street! Really enjoyed the race overall and our highest position yet (5th in the mixed pairs)

Run section of the Open 5 adventure race in Sedburgh. Hilly but a lovely sunny day and nice views. Must come back for a leisurely walk to enjoy them properly. All going well, if a little slow after all the climbing, until I tripped on a rock and cut my hand. Very near the finish though, so i was able to wash all the mud out of it before the biking
