My first trail run post surgery! For sure it was tough but it was pain free while running. Later that day my hip did flare up but not too bad, we'll see how this goes. :(

Man was it nice to get out on the trails. And the weather was beautiful. Clear skies and 60 degrees at the finish.

A very mellow ride, if I'd had more food I could have gone much longer. Rode with Nick & Barbra Dey and a friend of theirs. I pushed her up some hills for the bonus effort but mostly it was a social day and we were not "training". That can be pretty fun sometimes.

My max HR was really 138! This run felt harder/faster than it was. Then again, we were chatting all the time so I could not have been pushing that much.
