Lunch break app testing and next round of entertainment from seeing just how rubbish the Garmin 645 will be today. Not the worst I've seen it, apart from the bit where it had me going in completely the wrong direction and missed out quite a sharp turn and the straights either side... Elevation was a little interesting; Newport has less to fear from sea level rise than most of Dartmoor.

The app wasn't working properly either. All ok on the watch (but less "ok" than it was...), the data pull through by MapRun had a warning message (but worked) and told me I didn't visit any checkpoints at all. Start anywhere was working on the watch, so I'd guess there's some problem with how the 645 specifically stores the information as other watches aren't hitting the same bugs this does.

With Alice’s encouragement the daily working from home challenge is now teaching myself unnecessary languages rather than core strength. It’s definitely more fun and also a bit of a brexit protest. We’ll see how long this keeps up for once it gets harder...

Running 30:13 [3] 7.07 km (4:16 / km) +115m 3:57 / km
slept:6.0 shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 22 LBlue

7k loop, not super hard but moving ok. Watch HR well off so kept stopping and adjusting to see if it would start working eventually. It did, eventually - but made the run a but disjointed and somehow cut some of the total distance off a KM 3 onwards was about 50m behind. Because of the underrecording means that my training status on the watch has fallen even further out of line now. Overall not a bad run as time good for not a super effort and got up to the top quite comfortably compared to some runs.
