Streets in Ross on the way back. Now done pretty much everything north of the town centre.

Good to explore around the new estate a bit as not been in it before - though it's obvious that open street map has been done very approximately, and it's already well out of date.

Legs not great so kept the pace easy.

Not a lot of Midlands runs I want to do at the moment so started on a new front. Honeybourne to Moreton in Marsh the uphill way. Mostly on road with a bit of green lane. Some roads were pretty busy and not a lot of fun - and I was not quick up the hills.

Chipping Campden looked nice, as did the brief bit of Moreton I saw. Thought I was behind time but moving pretty quick on the downs. Last couple of K especially so, but was getting pretty tired from it. Made the train with 10 mins to spare.

In Whitbourne today so went out to Tidbatch as its the one bit of the village I’ve never been to before. But remembered on the way back that it’s actually Tedstone, weirdly. Turned around at the boundary with Clifton - which is also weirdly a narrow 100m band of Lower Sapey I could have run across.

Nice run, and enjoying looking at things from a slightly different angle - especially across to Tedstone. Looking down on the way back - could see nothing but trees, all very green at the moment.

Just the one election poster, for the green party. Missed Bill Wiggin’s first ever visit (MP for 23 years…) by a day so he must be worrying to be out knocking on doors. Listening to people’s attitudes - think he’s still pretty safe. Unless Farage drops in next week.

Warden Hill MapRun. Most of the points in housing estates with less in the fields and over in Shurdington.

Quickly decided to drop the one on its own with the nettles so planned a route to the new housing to south, then back up and across. Seemed like a lot of running, but points per minute ratio seemed good. Still skipped the low scores until confident I had loads of time left - meant I could relax and enjoy. Ground was dry and footpaths fairly clear so very pleasant running.

Cardiff Bay orienteering. Took a while to get moving and never really did get in the flow - work has been too manic and there's no sign of it getting better until November or later so a little tired. Unsure on the best route choices for several legs so took the option that looked more interesting and involved less repetition later on. Broadly happy with this for all but 2-3 as clearly lost time to Rachel on this one.

Cricklade to Cirencester - the last of the planned runs based from Swindon so good to get it done. Mostly along a cycle path that wasn't exactly good for cycling on - including crawling through trees that didn't look like they had fallen recently.

Mostly unexciting route with little to see, other than the river briefly. Didn't have a map and forgot the simplified directions so had to stop at one point, and did a lot of systematic searching at the end for the bus stop.

Definitely due a rest day now. Will think about what to do next weekend too - if all goes well, could complete all my queued up English runs for the year before the end of June.
