Wanting to do something for my birthday (even though it's not my birthday yet, and been so busy with work only reminded it's coming up yesterday) - so back to Salisbury to fill in more of the gap.

Weather absolutely foul for nearly all of the trip there but can be very grateful to Wilts & Dorset for being 7 minutes late getting me to Redlynch as a monumental rain shower stopped about 30s before I got off the bus. Still on/off rain for the whole run, with 5 mins of sunshine before Alderbury. Also started torrential rain about 1 min after I finished, so dived into the nearest shopping centre (<50m away!) for shelter until it passed.

Reasonably nice route, and no stops apart from toilet, and to get watch HR reading plausibly. Would like to do more around Hale Purlieu - looked nice and not how I remembered. Also would like to have found the trig - weather was bad and thundering as I went up that hill so wanted to get off it quickly.

Nearly finished Wiltshire. Assuming everything goes to plan - the runs to extend the heatmap start ending up a low way away.

Very busy day work so no lunch break until after 7pm. Weather bad and throat also not good (either cold or hayfever?) so probably best to "rest" up.

Clevedon urban.

Broadly happy with route choices, though not always the shortest. Not so happy with pace - and felt very unfit, even if not so slow. Latter part of the course didn't have any choice so just running - and found 15 ok even if quite hidden. Map was a bit fictitious around 4.

Again working too late to make it to MDC. Hopefully things will get better during August.

Struggled to get legs moving, but once up to speed was going quite well. Still kept it short and flat as pretty knackered.
