this will be the last time i go to the pool on saturday between the hours of 9-11am. i was in the only lap lane, smacked in the middle of the pool. to my right were crying babies and their parents, taking a swim class together. to my left were 4 lanes of little girls splashing around, taking a different swim class. i was so distracted i kept loosing lap count. on top of that, my swim cap kept coming off. i had to stop and put it on every 200-300 yards. not a good day in the pool. gave up after 40min. will try again tomorrow, early.

ran steady, tried to keep a comfortable pace, no hard breathing. checked the garmin @ every mile (when it beeped) to make sure hr was in check. i'm very happy with the result. i was able to keep the same pace as the last run but at a much lower hr.
