started early in the morning, prior to breakfast. ran barefoot on wet sand. chased after G the entire time. i was spent. he killed me!

super quick jog for warm up. has shin splints on left leg since the last 10mi run over the weekend. kept the mile low the past few days but it's not getting better.

note to self: lay off running completely for the next 2 days.

was a bit weak after run. the feeling continued in the pool so i got out after only 30min. took a shower in the locker room and drove home. all the while, my heart didn't settle and was beating fast. something wasn't right. as soon as i got home, i strapped on the HR monitor and laid down to rest a bit. HR was in the 170 and i wasn't doing anything! it got down to 150's after about 5min of laying still. it stayed in the 150 and 140 for about another 20min or so and slowly settled back down to normal. this was very strange.

i can't remember ever walking out of a spin class but just did today. tried to hang in there but couldn't do it. the workout was blah and music was terrible, early michael jackson and rick springfield, really?!!??!!
