went for an early morning run to beat the heat, without water and breakie. this was probably one of the worst run in a very long time. note to self, get in some calories before attempting to do a run over 5mi. like last week's 10mi run, i quickly caved after 5mi, had no juice left in the tank.

intervals: 10min warm up, 3x3min @ 7.4mph w/ 2min taper, 1x5min @ 7.4mph. legs were tired. wore compression socks after workout for better recovery.

early ride with the boys, David Z and Greg. we started from willow canyon, rode up to laguna coast wilderness, onto el moro, and back. good climb for the first 5mi.
