Weeks Woods double loop - nice moon out, but way too dark in the woods to run without a headlamp. Warm out - nice to be able to run in a t-shirt and shorts in mid-November at dusk. Figured if I was going to attempt the Traverse this Sunday, I ought to check to see if I was still capable of moving at a pace that might be called a run. Surprised myself - wasn't pushing it overall, but got some 8:30/km times in. I remember when 8:30 miles were really slow. Maybe my memory will go, so the recollection of being able to move much faster just won't be there haunting me. Or, I could start training in a manner approaching what Ernst does, and stop telling myself that I'm on the verge of old and approaching feebleness.
